Artisans

At Annie's Gold, we are proud to work with world-renowned Navajo silversmiths. Even if you're not buying, don't miss the opportunity to see these once in a lifetime pieces.

Jeanette Dale

Jeanette Dale is a Navajo silversmith known for her unique blend of traditional silverwork and natural stones. Trained by her mother, she specializes in deep stamping and high-polish finishes, staying true to her roots with a personal touch to each piece. After losing her job at Fairchild Electronics in 1973, Jeanette turned to silversmithing, quickly excelling in soldering and impressing a dealer who hired her. With nearly 40 years of experience, her jewelry is highly sought after, earning top awards at the Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial and attracting collectors worldwide.

Jimmy Poyer

Born in 1954 near Mexican Water, Arizona, Jimmy Poyer was raised in a traditional Navajo family. He attended high school in Shiprock and briefly studied at BYU and the University of New Mexico before leaving to pursue his passion for music, performing as a lead guitarist and vocalist for nearly two decades.

While not on tour, Poyer apprenticed with jeweler Jimmie Harrison, eventually crafting his own unique Native American jewelry. His work, known for its intricate inlay designs and use of materials like turquoise, coral, and malachite, is sold in galleries and museums nationwide. Poyer creates each piece by hand, choosing not to mass-produce his work. Now residing in Farmington, New Mexico, he finds joy in seeing others appreciate his craftsmanship.
